The Z-PET Syringe Shield greatly reduces hand exposure from syringes containing 511 keV radionuclides. The barrel of the shield is constructed of .55" thick (14 mm) tungsten that attenuates FDG F-18 by 97%. The shield accommodates standard 5 cc syringes. The Manual Dose Injector is an ideal companion, providing both additional shielding and distance.
Dimensions: 2.75" l x 1.7" dia (7 x 4.3 cm)
Shielding: .55" thick (14 mm) tungsten
Weight: 3.7 lb (1.7 kg)
The Tungsten (Wolfram) Vial Shield is suitable for storage and use of vials containing radiopharmaceuticals.
The shield is made of tungsten with a thickness of 6 mm in every direction (Eq to 10 mm Lead at 150 KeV).
The shield is equipped with a threaded cap for the introduction of the vial, and with a magnetic cap for the access to the vial “cap”.
The tungsten hardness makes it almost indesctructible and easily decontaminable.
Description The shielded container CF18T is made up of tungsten alloy and it is used to transport radioisotopes. The top is locked by means of a fixed joint (bayonet lockup).
The lockup is equipped with a O-Ring seal that ensures a perfect tightness. CF18T shielded container is also equipped with a built-in handle to enable an easy transport. Features:
Weight: 14 kg
